Michaux Brewing Expanding to Gettysburg

The expansion news continues in Central PA (and Pennsylvania beer in general). Michaux Brewing just announced that they will be expanding into Gettysburg, adding a taproom there. It was just two years ago they opened their current location (July 3rd 2022). (Michaux Brewing Grand Opening.) Its great to see them expanding in less than two years, and into a wonderful beer city. Gettysburg is currently home to Fourscore Beer Co and Pilger Ruh Brewing. (As well as having had Tattered Flag and Appalachian Brewing Company there.) (Pilger Ruh Brewing Expanding into Gettysburg)

Announcement

๐Ÿ’ฅGETTYSBURG… HERE WE COME!๐Ÿ’ฅ

We are excited to officially announce that Michaux Brewing Company is expanding! We will be opening a second location in downtown Gettysburg this summer! After months of planning and a lot of help from our friends and family, the space is looking great. Our official opening date is still TBD, but we will be sure to keep you updated!

We want to give a special shoutout to Kenny @blue_shift_industries who helped in the visualization of the future taproom. His rendering of the space is on point!

Stay tuned for updates on the Gettysburg location!

I Apologize For Nothing (by Fourscore Beer Company)

Another Futurama Monday

Welcome back for another Futurama Monday! Did you know Hulu has the episodes up basically at midnight?! I didn’t! I thought it was like Disney+ and other services where a new episode usually airs at 3:00 AM EST, but I got on last night and the newest episode was on already at 12:54 AM (EST) when I checked it out. Totally awesome and good to know I can get an early jump on each Futurama episode (since I only get to bed usually around 1 AM – 2 AM every night anyway).

Today’s Futurama themed beer is an older beer – but I did the review quite a while ago, and saved it. I had been waiting and deciding when to post the review – and then found out that the series was coming back and I thought – perfect, I’ll just wait to post it when the new season comes up. So here it is, now to be posted with the new season.

I Apologize For Nothing (pictured with Hedonism Bot on the label) came out for the Fourscore Beer Company’s 3rd Anniversary Celebration last year. (And coincidentally, they are ramping up their celebrations for this upcoming week which will be their fourth anniversary celebration. Check their Facebook page for all of their announcements. You can also see Wade Leedy posting in the Gettysburg Beer group as well about information.) Fourscore Beer Company did a big 3rd Anniversary Celebration last year with a lot of new releases and I Apologize For Nothing was one of them.

I Apologize For Nothing

I Apologize for Nothing!

A memorable quote from one of the more tertiary characters of the show – Hedonism Bot. He is only in 14 episodes and 3 of the movies, and rarely has more than one or two lines – one of which is the above line (repeated a few times over the various episodes).

In 3003, Hedonismbot attended the Big Robot Party (4ACV08). In 3004, he attended the CalculonCoilette wedding (4ACV13), and asked Fry to write an opera (4ACV18). In 3007, he saw the professor‘s doomsday devices (BBS). In 3008, he was present at the League of Robots when Bender entered the league (TBWABB). In 3009, he attended the Violet Dwarf Star Implosion (ITWGY). In 3010, he supported Proposition โˆž (6ACV04), he made a big party to celebrate his wedding to a house (6ACV07), saw Amy and Kif at the Hip Joint (6ACV08), and attended the 100th Delivery Party (6ACV12). In 3014, he was with the Planet Express Crew and the Simpsons during “the end of the world” (SABF16).

……

Hedonismbot’s behaviour resembles that of a rich decadent Roman noble of ancient times, and he is a great patron of the opera with his very own box in the Metropolitan House of Opera – he even commissioned Fry to write an opera in which Fry would perform the Holophonor (4ACV18).

Hedonismbot also enjoys a number of unconventional hedonistic pleasures, including being covered in chocolate icing, sex orgies and robosexuality.

Hedonismbot was to be married to a house in the suburbs in July of 3010, but the night before, he held a bachelor party where, due to a nuclear powered stripper malfunctioning, he was the only survivor. It is unclear if he was married or not, but as evidenced by a party in September, his hedonistic ways of promiscuity have not changed.

In a season three commentary, Matt Groening points out the importance of the name being Hedonismbot and not Hedonistbot – he is not only hedonist, he is the actual personification of hedonism.

In 3013, Leela called him a senator (7ACV21).

Hedonism Bot – The Infosphere (Futurama Wikipedia)

As his name suggests – he is a robot based around hedonism. Kind of a Caligula styled design and character attitude, all about wanton and based lusts.

Beer Review: I Apologize For Nothing

I Apologize For Nothing by Fourscore Beer Company

Beer: I Apologize For Nothing
Brewery: Fourscore Beer Co.
Style: IPA – Triple New England / Hazy
ABV: 10%
IBU: N / A
Untappd Description: Built off a base of American 2 Row and Chit malts with loads of malted and flaked oats and a very large dose of powdered Australian Sauvignon Blanc whole grape powder. Hopped in the kettle with Calypso and Centennial Cryo and triple dry hopped with Kohatu, Citra Cryo and Emerald Spire. The grape powder provides a melon forward aromatic profile that is followed by notes of under ripe pineapple and pine needles. The grape follows through in the flavor on top of a soft and juicy base. More floral notes are present here along with watermelon rind, candied pineapple and bright citrus

Bammo! Hedonism all over on this big bad TIPA (Triple IPA). It hits you right out of the gate as you start to pour it with a heady aroma of hops knocking those hedonistic senses right out of you. The Citra really shines on the nose and aroma, and you get a wealth of fruity flavors ranging from grape, pineapple, and a bit of mango and grapefruit to kind of round it out. This is a bright, juicy, powerful beer, just from the aroma alone.

The appearance is a beautiful light straw color, with a wonderful fluffy, cloud like head to it. Very soft, very pillowy, airy and light looking. (Don’t let that fool you though.) It is opaque and hazy like a New England hazy IPA should be, no real noticeable floating sediment, and as you drink it, it left wonderful lacing on the glass.

Already I know this is going to be a killer beer. As good as an explosion at Hedonism Bot’s bachelor party. (“There was bodies everywhere…. and then the explosion happened!”) Big time carbonation and continued fermentation here; big fruit flavors and the grape powder adds a nice tartness. There is a lot of flavors and interactions going on with this big bad boy of a TIPA. The tartness is paired with sweeter, gummies citrus notes Sweet, but TIPAs need that to counter the booze. The sweetness does counter balance the tartness nicely, and the hops, even New England / Hazy TIPAs can get a bit too much hop character, too much hop bite, and can be too green – they just need that fruit, that sweet, that wealth of flavors and aromas to counterbalance – otherwise it can be a bit too much, especially the higher ABV they get, the more boozy they can sometimes taste and feel. This is a very intricate and balanced beer with a lot of nuanced tastes and notes to be discovered as you drink it. Its not a sipper like a bourbon barrel aged barleywine or anything, but certainly not one you can crush or should be drinking too fast. Definitely don’t think its a four – pack in an evening type of beer either (more like one or two at most).

My Untappd Rating: ****
Global Untappd Rating: 3.95 (updated this to reflect today’s date – 8.7.23)

How the West Was 1010101010

(I don’t even know if I have the right binary above, but lets go with it.) Quick thoughts on today’s episode – I enjoyed it. So far might be my favorite episode of the season. Dwight does sound off, not sure if they recast him, or if its a thing of aging, but he sounds off. I did enjoy Roberto, Borax Kid, and all of the little character arcs of the episode. It was just a fun, old school, zany Futurama episode. Not all of the jokes fully landed, but they were still on brand for the most part, and were fun. They didn’t have to do much exposition in the episode, and I just enjoyed it. Was just a fun, Futurama episode of old.

Appalachian Brewing Company is coming soon to Carlisle, Pennsylvania

Appalachian Brewing Coming is Coming Soon to Carlisle

Just a bit ago Appalachian Brewing Company blasted out on all of their social media feeds that they will be coming soon to Carlisle. They posted announcing that they are hiring with a link to their ‘jobs’ page. In the comments section though – they said its too soon to say where exactly.

Currently, ABC (Appalachian Brewing Company) has five locations – Harrisburg, Lititz, Mechanicsburg, Shippensburg, and Battlefield (Gettysburg). This would make their sixth location.

The Appalachian Brewing Company, commonly known as ABC, is a craft brewery in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. It was founded in January 1997. ABC also operates pubs in Gettysburg, Lititz, Mechanicsburg, Shippensburg, and soon Carlisle.

Announcement

They posted on all of their social media pages (their Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc; using each of their distinct brewpub locations to do so as well), the following announcement:

We have been keeping a secret from you! More information coming soon.

Now hiring ALL positions for our new Carlisle location.

Apply here ๐Ÿ‘‡

https://www.abcbrew.com/employment-opportunities

Appalachian Brewing Company (ABC) – Harrisburg – Facebook Post

Each post came with the above photo highlighting a map of Pennsylvania with a pin for their new Carlisle location.

Inevitably in most of of the different comments sections they were asked where in Carlisle they would be located, with people speculating on different storefronts and places; but Appalachian Brewing Company is playing it close to the vest saying “we will let you know when we can!”

Holiday Weekend and Bomber Bottles https://thebeerthrillers.com/2023/07/02/holiday-weekend-and-bomber-bottles/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=holiday-weekend-and-bomber-bottles Mon, 03 Jul 2023 01:19:36 +0000 https://thebeerthrillers.com/?p=11862
Pastry Parkway – Cannoli (collaboration between Fourscore Beer Co. and Wolf Brewing Company)

Preparing for the Holiday Weekend

While mentally preparing for this long holiday weekend I stared at the collection of bomber bottles on top of my rolltop desk in my living room.ย  It feels like they are taking up lots of space and I just simply must decrease the number of bottles on top of my desk.ย  Holiday weekends are perfect for that.ย

Bomber Quiz

[perfect_survey id=”11860″]

Bombs Away

I decided to crack into the Captain Precious from Alementary.ย  We picked up this one when we had to stop by since after having Scarlet.ย  We loved celebrating her birth by toasting one of our favs from them, Figgy Pudding.ย

Figgy Pudding 2021 – Amy’s Push Present when Scarlet Emma was born (via our Instagram from 11.11.22)

When we posted on IG about her birth they graciously offered another bottle in celebration.ย  Captain Precious was another bottle we had to get on the way out the door.ย

Captain Precocious by The Alementary

Captain Precious is a 12.5% Barleywine and the perfect way to kick off the holiday weekend and we paired it with some spicy tacos.ย  It has an average rating on Untapped at 3.90 and that is way too low for this quality Barleywine.ย  It is described on Untapped as โ€œMarjieโ€™s first beer!ย  This Barleywine is made with peanut butter and heaps of fresh blueberries and fermented with Kveik yeast for a touch of overripe tropical fruit. โ€œThe perfect mix of some peanut butter and blueberries it was delicious. (You can view our reel from Facebook about adding it to the taco meat and enjoying the delicious barleywine here – The Beer Thrillers on Facebook, Reels.)

Pastry Parkway – Cannoli

We then finished off the night with a stout we bought way before we got pregnant, two of the Pastry Stouts from the Pastry Parkway line from Fourscore Beer Co in Gettysburg. All four pastry stouts come in with a 15% ABV. Two of the four we got were the cannoli and the sโ€™mores Cupcake.ย  The other two I wish I got my hands on were Blueberry Marshmallow Muffin and Chocolate Cherry Caramel Croissant.ย  The Pastry Parkway was a collab with Wolf Brewering Company in Mechanicsburg, PA and Fourscore Beer Company in Gettysburg, PA.

Pastry Parkway – S’mores Cupcake

We started with the Cannoli Pastry Stout and we decided to pair it with some chocolate peanut butter cup Turkey Hill ice cream.  It was a warm evening and I would be going for ice cream so we were lucky it was a delicious combo.  Then, as I sat down to write this, we cracked open the Sโ€™more Cupcake Pastry Stout and stole Benโ€™s Zebra cakes to go with it.

I know feel accomplished getting a few things cleaned up around the house by decreasing the bomber stash.ย  I canโ€™t wait for the next holiday weekend! ย Happy Birthday America!

Some Explosive Good Beers

All of these – from the Figgy Pudding we had in honor of our child’s birth; to the Captain Precocious we had picked up at The Alementary (one of our favorite breweries), to the two Fourscore Beer Co and Wolf Brewing Company collabs (Pastry Parkway – Cannoli and Pastry Parkway – S’mores Cupcake) were “explosively good”. (See what I did there?)

So I have to ask you all again… how many bombers do you have sitting at home, cellaring in your basement, and waiting to be drank? (Don’t worry, despite polishing these off, we still have plenty more to go!)

Drink More Beer!

Anniversary “Greatest Hits” Six Pack

To celebrate their third anniversary, Fourscore Beer Company is releasing a “greatest hits” six pack. They are re – releasing five of their greatest sours as well as one brand new beer to go with the pack. The following has been their Facebook (and Instagram) posts detailing the beers involved in the mix pack:

1) Soft Swerve Dole Whip

Fourscore Beer Company – Soft Swerve Dole Whip

For our 3rd anniversary, we decided to bring back 5 of our highest rated sours ever, plus one brand new addition for this year’s anniversary mixed pack!

To kick things off, we are bringing back our highest rated sour ever – the OG Soft Swerve Dole Whip! The aromatics of pineapple and vanilla bring a straight pineapple upside down cake experience. The flavor is sweet and tropical in a beer form that will absolutely remind you of the frozen dessert.

This is the one that started Soft Swerve. Massive jammy blueberry with a great cheesecake backbone. As with all of our cheesecake treatments, this one contains trace amounts of dairy. We can do ice cream without the dairy and lactose, but our cheesecake does contain a very small amount.

We brought a second offering back from the OG release of Soft Swerve. We scoured back through the recipe book to see how we went about this the first time around. It all started with trying to source the best mango puree around, Alphonso Mango. Prized for its flavor, aroma and creamy texture, no other mango comes close. Pair this with our cheesecake treatment (contains dairy, because – well – Cheesecake) and you have a tropical explosion melded perfectly with lingering cheesecake.

Make plans now to come help us celebrate! ๐ŸŽ‰

It had to be done! We had to bring this collab with the homies from the White Rabbit back. With how it was scored, you guys thought the same. Huge amounts of tropical pineapple backed with exotic Yuzu puree and a solid heaping of coconut cream. The inspiration of this one was always a Painkiller cocktail, but with an exotic twist.

We got together with our good friends from Chester, NY to combine our fruited sour brain power. For our end of the collab, we took influence from true Italian gelatos and went with a concept based on one of the top selling gelato flavors, Bacio. Think milk chocolate with fresh hazelnut. We of course had to add our own twist and we conditioned it on loads of strawberry, blueberry, blackberry and boysenberry.

But Wait….. There’s More

On top of their “Greatest Hits” Mixed Six Pack, they are also releasing even more beers! (Nobody certainly ever said Fourscore Beer Co. doesn’t go all out!). The following are further releases scheduled for this Saturday.

Peach and Quiet

Fourscore Beer Company – Peach and Quiet

This Saturday is our third Anniversary celebration!! So far we announced our mixed 6 pack. Next up is our Foeder Aged Farmhouse Wit conditioned on local peaches.

Foeder Aged Farmhouse Wit with Peaches – We took our mixed culture fermented farmhouse with local grain that spent over a year in our custom foeders and conditioned it on hundreds of pounds of local Adams County freestone peaches for nearly an entire year. Post aging, we bottle conditioned it for the most natural experience possible, lending a nicely carbonated yet still soft textured experience.

Hazy Triple IPA w/ wine powder – Built off a base of American 2 Row and Chit malts with loads of malted and flaked oats and a very large dose of powdered Australian Sauvignon Blanc whole grape powder. More floral notes are present here along with watermelon rind, candied pineapple and bright citrus.

(15%) Blended Barrel Aged Imperial Stout with Coffee, Peanut Butter, Marshmallow and Vanilla. We took stock from 4 different barrel aged stouts (16 month Templeton Rye, 12 month Buffalo Trace, 3 year Four Roses OESK and 3 year Four Roses OBSO), blended them together and aged them extensively on pounds of Tahitian Vanilla beans. We then added peanut butter powder, bourbon barrel aged coffee and marshmallow to give the ultimate sweet treat.

๐—ฅ๐—ข๐—จ๐—ก๐—— ๐Ÿฏ

Hazy DIPA Collab w/ Other Half

Built off of a base of American Pilsner, and various oats and wheat. Hopped in the kettle with Citra Incognito and Motueka, then triple dry hopped with Citra Spectrum, Nectaron and Riwaka. Fermented with a brand new Thiolized yeast strain from our friends at Omega. The aromatics are all fresh peaches and white grapefruit with a slightly over ripe pineapple backdrop over a bright golden hue. The mouthfeel is lush and creamy with more peach, pineapple and just enough bitter for a balance. The ABV is well hidden and deceitful.

Rum Barrel Aged Fruited Sour – How could we only do one collab with the homies from @otherhalfnyc? We took our barrel aged sour game to the next level on this one. After sharing around the first take on our barrel aged Jahmba at a fest, we figured that we needed to combine forces to make a beer that is truly next level. We aged our house sour base in a rum barrel and then took this cocktail influenced concept and added a ton of jammy fresh strawberry puree. After getting that perfect daiquiri consistency and flavor, we brought the next level of intrigue in with some top notch lychee puree. The combo provided to be sweet, boozy and flat out amazing.

Beer Review: Phantomania (Fourscore Beer Company) https://thebeerthrillers.com/2022/03/09/beer-review-phantomania-fourscore-beer-company/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=beer-review-phantomania-fourscore-beer-company Wed, 09 Mar 2022 13:26:40 +0000 https://thebeerthrillers.com/?p=8921
Fourscore Beer Company’s Phantomania

Beers…. Mmmmm….. Beers….

There are so many things to unpack about this beer. I feel like Iโ€™m always on the hunt for the next tasty hazy IPAโ€ฆand let me tell you I like them hazy!ย  That perfect Hazy IPA reminds me what it feels like when Homer has that drooling eye roll moment.

Homer drooling, thinking of Fourscore’s Beers

The tropical and citrusy aroma of Phantomania quickly took me away to a better place than central pa during a freezing rainy day!ย  It must be this fabulous hop combination.ย  It ends on a bitter taste, but it just cleanses that palate and you are ready for the next satisfying sip.

Beer Review

Beer: Phantomania
Brewery: Fourscore Beer Co.
Style: IPA โ€“ Triple New England / Hazy
ABV: 11%
IBU: None
Untappd Description: For our foray into using Phantasm Powder (a thiol rich substance derived from NZ Sauv Blanc grape skins) we chose a triple ipa with various forms of Citra and Motueka hops.ย  The grist is compromised of a base of American Pilsner malt, British Golden Promise and malted oats, backed by touched of flaked oats CaraFoam, wheat malt, and unmalted wheat.ย  Hopped in the Whirlpool with Citra Incognto and Motueka, and a double dry hopped with doses of Phantasm Powder, Citra Cryo and more Motueka before a final dose of Citra Spectrum.ย  The aroma is sweet lime peel, white gummy bear and pink grapefruit driven, leading to a creamy body.ย  The flavor is straight lime sherbert with hints of ripe mango, leading to a finish thatโ€™s a little dry with a hintโ€ฆ.

[Untappd doesnโ€™t give nearly enough characters to describe this beer.ย  And If you caught Fourscoreโ€™s FB post it continues with (โ€ฆa hint of cleansing bitterness)]

I am in complete agreement, there are not enough characters in an untapped description in order to describe Phantomania.

I had never heard of phantasm powerโ€ฆ.is it just me??ย  I quickly ran to the google-later to conquer my questions.ย  According to Bisonbrew.com โ€œPhantasm Powder is a brand new product from New Zealand. Itโ€™s basically pulverized freeze-dried Sauvignon Blanc Grapes. What it contributes to beer is a massive charge of thiols: compounds that drive intense tropical fruit flavor and aroma.โ€ Ah, that is where the tropical citrusy cloud comes from.ย  Chefโ€™s Kiss!

Seth’s Chef Kiss

Hang on just a minute.  As a former wino, ok wino currently in remission, sauvignon blanc grapes are a favorite. I suppose it depends on how good each season is for how readily available or how tasty each grape skin.  In November Porchdrinking.com reported it is still โ€œone of the most unique and hard-to-get beer ingredients on the market today.โ€ https://www.porchdrinking.com/articles/2021/11/03/phantasm-powder/

Please tell me we arenโ€™t going to pretend to not talk about the elephant in the room.ย  Am I the only one that had no idea that ABV was 11%?ย  This nice, light, citrusy beer is a BEAST.ย  I can easily say this is one of my top 10 fav beers of 2021.ย  Yes, this Phantasm powder has been boggling my mind since then!ย  I intend to drink many more beers with phantasm powder to compare.ย  Letโ€™s be honest Iโ€™ll be drinking many more beers regardless, but load up on this good stuff.ย

It’s still available on top and 4 packs to go. You can find it here at Fourscore Beer Co’s Menu.

Discover the Side Pull Tap: Revolutionizing Your Craft Beer Experience

If you’re not yet familiar with the side pull tap, you’re not alone. While it’s starting to make its mark in a few breweries in Pennsylvania, it hasn’t quite hit the mainstream craft beer scene just yet. But thatโ€™s about to change.

What is a Side Pull Tap?

A side pull draft beer faucet, often referred to as a Czech beer faucet or Lukr faucet, is a unique tool that transforms the way we pour and enjoy beer. Unlike traditional taps, the side pull tap is designed to create a creamy, silky head, which is the traditional way of enjoying a Czech pilsner. The faucet is submerged into the mug, resulting in a sweet, velvety foam that enhances the beer’s flavor and aroma.

The Mechanics of a Side Pull Tap

At first glance, the side pull tap might look like a standard tap turned on its side, but there’s more to it than meets the eye. The handle is much more delicate than a traditional tap. Each slight movement of the handle changes the flow of beer; every degree of change increases or decreases the amount of liquid being poured into the glass. This precision allows for perfect control over the pour, ensuring a consistent and enjoyable drinking experience.

The Side Pull Tap in Pennsylvania

While the side pull tap may not have fully permeated the Pennsylvania craft beer market, some innovative breweries are leading the charge. These breweries are embracing the side pull tap and its ability to elevate the beer-drinking experience. We recently spoke with two Pennsylvania breweries that have implemented the side pull tap to learn more about its benefits.

Some Pennsylvania Breweries Using the Side Pull Tap:

  • Human Robot
  • Fourscore Beer Co.
  • Stick City Brewing Company
  • Wishful Thinking Brewing
  • Warwick Farm Brewing
  • Bright Path Brewing Company

Benefits of the Side Pull Tap

  1. Enhanced Flavor and Aroma: The creamy head created by the side pull tap releases the beerโ€™s aromas and enhances its flavor profile, providing a richer tasting experience.
  2. Aesthetic Appeal: The beautiful, silky head of foam adds a visual element to the beer, making it more enticing and enjoyable.
  3. Traditional Experience: For fans of Czech pilsners and traditional beer pouring methods, the side pull tap offers an authentic and nostalgic experience.

Spotlight on Lukr and the Milko Pour

One brand making waves with the side pull tap is Lukr, known for its precision and quality. Additionally, the Milko pourโ€”a technique that involves creating a dense foam head that makes up the majority of the glassโ€”is gaining popularity among beer enthusiasts. This method, made possible by the side pull tap, provides a unique and delightful way to enjoy your favorite beers.

The Milko Pour: A Unique Beer-Drinking Experience

The Milko pour is a fascinating technique that’s gaining traction among beer enthusiasts, particularly those who appreciate the nuances of traditional beer pouring methods. Originating from the Czech Republic, the Milko pour is made possible by the side pull tap and is a testament to the artistry involved in serving beer.

What is a Milko Pour?

Milko pours at Gusto Brewing in New Jersey

A Milko pour involves creating a dense, creamy foam head that occupies the majority of the glass. Unlike a standard pour, where the beer and foam are evenly balanced, the Milko pour prioritizes the foam, which can make up to 90% of the glass. This technique transforms the beer-drinking experience, offering a unique texture and flavor profile.

How is a Milko Pour Achieved?

The Milko pour is achieved using the side pull tap, specifically the Lukr faucet, known for its precision and control. Hereโ€™s how itโ€™s done:

  1. Submersion of the Faucet: The faucet is submerged into the mug, allowing the beer to flow gently along the sides.
  2. Controlled Pouring: By carefully adjusting the handle, the bartender controls the flow of the beer, ensuring that a thick, creamy head of foam is produced.
  3. Patience and Skill: Achieving the perfect Milko pour requires patience and skill. The bartender must be attentive to the handle’s movements to create the desired foam consistency.

Why Try a Milko Pour?

  1. Enhanced Creaminess: The dense foam head adds a rich, creamy texture to the beer, making each sip smooth and velvety.
  2. Intensified Aromas: The foam head captures and releases the beerโ€™s aromas more effectively, enhancing the overall sensory experience.
  3. Visual Appeal: The thick, white foam is visually striking, making the beer look as good as it tastes.
  4. Traditional Experience: For those who enjoy traditional beer-drinking methods, the Milko pour offers an authentic way to appreciate a Czech pilsner.

Where to Find Milko Pours

As the side pull tap and Lukr faucets become more popular, more breweries are starting to offer Milko pours. Check with your local breweries to see if they provide this unique pouring method. Itโ€™s a delightful way to experience beer, offering a fresh perspective on how beer can be enjoyed.

Incorporating the Milko pour into your beer repertoire not only broadens your appreciation for different pouring techniques but also deepens your enjoyment of the craft. Cheers to discovering new ways to savor your favorite brews!

Conclusion

The side pull tap, along with Lukr faucets and the Milko pour technique, is set to revolutionize the craft beer experience. As more breweries adopt this method, beer enthusiasts can look forward to an enhanced and traditional way of enjoying their favorite brews. Keep an eye out for these innovative taps at your local brewery and prepare to elevate your beer-drinking experience.
