More Exciting News

Yay to more exciting news in the brewery world – another brewery expanding! This time another local to us (The Beer Thrillers / Amy and Ben) and good friends of Amy‘s. Jigsy’s is one of Amy and her mom SueAnn’s favorite pizza places, and good friends of theirs (Robin) as well. So its a win all around to hear them expanding!

I (B. Kline) got introduced to Jigsy’s last year with Amy and loved the pizza and brewpub. Great atmosphere, wonderful staff and people, and good beer. The pierogi pizza is absolutely phenomenal for this half – Pensy Dutch boy.

But enough about how much we love the place; lets get to the news of it!

Jigsy’s Old Forge Pizza and Brewpub Expanding to Hershey

Jigsy’s Old Forge Pizza and Brewpub is expanding into Hershey. On top of having their location in Enola they will be adding a second location to Hershey. Their new Hershey location will be at 121 Towne Square Drive. Yes, that means they will be moving into the new two story Farmer’s Market in Hershey (back behind the Iron Hill Brewery and Premanti Brothers, and other restaurants and businesses). In that same building is also Shy Bear Brewing, Ever Grain Brewing, and The Vegetable Hunter Brewpub.

You can read more about that Farmer’s Market here: Shy Bear is Expanding into Hershey’s New Farmer’s Market.

This means that if you start at 121 Towne Square Drive – at the Hershey’s Farmer Market – you can hit Jigsy’s Old Forge Pizza and Brewpub, Ever Grain Brewing, Shy Bear Brewing, The Vegetable Hunter Brewpub, and then go to Iron Hill Brewing, Tattered Flag Distillery and Brewery Bar (more news on this location in the near future when I’m able to talk about it), Hidden Stills Distillery, Troegs Independent Craft Brewing, Rotunda Brewpub, and back to the Farmer’s Market at 121 Towne Square in just 6.2 miles and 21 minutes driving time.

See the route here: 121 Towne Square Drive to Iron Hill to Tattered Flag Bar to Hidden Stills to Troegs Brewery to Rotunda Brewpub to 121 Towne Square Drive.

If thats not an incredible spot of great breweries and distilleries – I don’t know what it is! (That’s 8 breweries and 2 distilleries all in 6.2 miles of a loop!)

Jigsy’s Old Forge Pizza and Brewpub is expecting to have their stand and table at the Hershey’s Farmers Market ready on Saturday, February 25th 2023.

Jigsy’s Old Forge Pizza and Brewpub

Jigsy’s Old Forge Pizza is owned and operated by Migsy, Joe, and Robin Ardoline. They are second generation owners of Jigsy’s.

Originally, the family ran a successful restaurant in northeastern Pennsylvania, then in 1999 the family opened Jigsy’s in Central Pa. in Enola – where they are currently located today and continue to grow the family business.

According to the Jigsy’s team, they recently constructed a new addition to their Enola location on 225 N. Enola Road. This new addition consisted of a brand-new outdoor entertainment area and a new patio space for guests to enjoy their meals and drinks.

Thanks For Reading

Thank you again everyone for reading. Its so great to get to report on growth and expansion in the brewery industry (especially compared to reporting on breweries closing). Jigsy’s is one of Amy and her mom SueAnn’s absolute favorite places, and after getting to go with Amy, and trying the pierogi pizza and the plain pizza as well as two of their beers, I can see why. It was all phenomenal, and Robin was an absolute sweetheart when we got to talk to her. Make sure you get out to support their brewpub in Enola as well as when they open their stand at the Farmers Market on the 25th.
