Our Town Brewery – Facebook Post

In April of 2023 we broke the news here on the blog of their opening in Philadelphia – Our Town Brewery Expanding to Philadelphia, and in less than a year they are ready for their opening. First with the soft opening this weekend – February 3rd and 4th 2024; followed by their Grand Opening on Friday February 8th, 2024.

Currently Our Town Brewery is located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This additional taproom will be located at 1519 Ridge Avenue, Philadelphia.

Our Town Brewery’s New Taproom

Inside Our Town Brewery’s New Taproom

The new location at 1519 Ridge Avenue, Philadelphia will be a taproom only, meaning they won’t be producing any beer at this location. Their production will still be at the original location and brewery in Lancaster, PA. Our Town Brewery’s location will have a square footprint of 1,700 but the taproom will be 1,100 square feet. The bar – central to the location (directly upfront) will be 16 feet long (and able to seat 8), and then there will be tables dispersed throughout the taproom. The estimated seating will be 40 – 45 people. The bar itself will consist of 16 taps, including two beloved Lukr taps. They will serve outside cider and cocktails as well, befitting a PA Brewery’s License.

There is a front sidewalk and a 600 foot backyard – beer garden. These two areas will be able to seat an additional 20 people (estimated). Currently nearby is a dog park, and they will see if there is a way to be able to take their beer over to the dog park for those who wish to bring their furry friends out for a drink.

Pour Man’s Brewing Is Moving Their Taproom https://thebeerthrillers.com/2022/11/07/pour-mans-brewing-is-moving-their-taproom/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=pour-mans-brewing-is-moving-their-taproom Mon, 07 Nov 2022 14:48:55 +0000 https://thebeerthrillers.com/?p=9894

Pour Man’s Brewing is Moving Their Taproom

Big and bigger and bigger news keeps coming out of Pour Man’s Brewing in Ephrata Pennsylvania. Just ten minutes ago on their Facebook page they announced they will be moving their taproom to a new location. You can read their post here:

We are excited to share with everyone WE ARE MOVING the taproom! But do not worry we are not leaving Ephrata! Our new taproom will be located at 24 E Main Street Ephrata! This beautiful centerpiece of downtown Ephrata was built in 1912 and was the home to Sprecher’s Hardware for 88 years! Most recently 24 E Main street was occupied by Hometown Refurnishing who is relocating also in Ephrata.

We plan to only expand on the history of this amazing building by preserving the historical features of the Sprecher’s building, while also providing a new cozy and fun place to hangout downtown. The new 8,000 sq ft taproom will feature two bars on the first floor, with seating for 100+ guests, and a beer garden in the back. The second floor will be available as a full-service rental event space/additional seating for the taproom, and will feature a sky-view bar overlooking downtown Ephrata. We plan to offer 20 of our house-made beers on tap with many options available to go in 4 packs and cases, as well as an expanded cocktail, wine, and cider list. We will also be redesigning our food menu, and plan to focus on locally sourced and produced ingredients to provide a fresh menu that pairs great with our lager focused brewery!

We plan to start renovations on the building in early 2023 and hope to be open by the summer of 2023. For now, things will remain the same at our beloved cozy taproom on 272. We plan to keep our current building and use it to expand our brewing operations.
