Welcome to The Beer Thrillers
Thank you for visiting The Beer Thrillers blog. This is a blog all about beer; brewing, crafting, drinking, enjoying; on both the personal and the business scale of things, and even from the soil up! Articles will range from beer reviews, brewery reviews, brewery tour reviews, craft beer industry news, home brewing, hop growing, articles about working in the industry and volunteering in the industry, as well as much more in the future. (Definitely keep coming back and click the follow button to see our regular near-daily updates!)
You can find the articles here for the various blog posts. Just click the title and it will take you to the article. We have updated the site so its no longer one long page with the blog entries running on it and being added to the top. The page is now set-up with a homepage and then branches out. This should make it look cleaner and be easier to find articles and no longer a need to wade through every post to find the one you want.
This blog is centered around the South Central Pennsylvania area (Hershey-Harrisburg area). There is a wealth of great local craft breweries in this area, for example: Troegs Brewery, Boneshire Brew Works, Tattered Flag Brewing, The Millworks, Zeroday Brewery, Moo-Duck Brewery, Cox Brewing, Iron Hill Brewery of Hershey, Spring Gate, The Vineyard and Brewery of Hershey, The Vegetable Hunter, Howling Henry’s (no building, but brews out of Hummelstown), Funk’s Brewing, Appalachian Brewing Company, Newfangled Brew Works, and Mount Gretna Craft Brewery, and these are just the ones within a 10-15 mile radius of Hummelstown. (There is even more on the outskirts of this like Pizza Boy in Enola, Molly Pitcher and Desperate Times in Carlisle, Rotunda Brewing Company out of Annville, Snitz Creek out of Lebanon,Ever Grain and Mellow Mink out of Mechanicsburg, Larsen Meadworks in Mechanicsburg, and many more.) And there is many more constantly opening up in the area.
The blog will feature diverse content, including beer reviews of recent releases from esteemed breweries like Tree House, Trillium, The Veil, Burley Oak, and Aslin, showcasing industry-famous “whales.” Additionally, it will cover tailored articles on growing hops in Pennsylvania, industry updates like brewery openings and closings, insights into brewery work and volunteer experiences, alongside articles detailing new brewery visits and tours. Home brewing enthusiasts will also find valuable content sharing experiences, methods, and tips for improving the home brewing process.
