The Battle of the Breweries

The list below is the four conferences – Bravo, Crystal, Fuggle, and Galaxy, and the 31 (+4 possible breweries for the 32nd seed) participants. This is their seeding as per Untappd ratings. We rolled D4’s all day to determine which conferences the breweries would end up in, then we used their Untappd global average rating to set up the seeding. In the case of ties (example – two breweries with a 3.66 Untappd rating) we rolled off to determine their order of ranking.

The 32nd seed for each conference is being determined right now by the winner of the Preliminary Qualifier round, which ends tomorrow (Thursday, February 29th) at 11:59:59 PM EST. You can vote here: The Battle of the Breweries (2024): Preliminary Qualifiers.

Round 1 of the tournament will consist of 1. vs. 32., 2. vs. 31., 3. vs. 30., etc. This is set up in typical March Madness format. (So round two will not be a 1/32 vs. 2/31.)
