White Horse Brewing 12 Year Anniversary

Starting November 1st, White Horse Brewing LLC will be having a month long celebration for their 12th year anniversary! Congratulations to White Horse Brewing LLC for 12 years in Berlin, PA, and for quality craft beer and being a great member of their community.

I got to visit White Horse Brewing in November of 2020. (See: The Trip to Indy – Day 7 Recap: There and Back Again – A Drunk Hobbit’s Tale (WhiteHorse Brewing LLC, Gearhouse Brewing Company, Rubber Soul Brewing)

I had a fantastic time there and the beers were great, the people and employees were wonderful, and it was very nice and relaxing, and this was all in such a fraught time (November of 2020), with COVID-19 / Coronavirus stuff still going on, with the election, with everything going on. It was nice to relax, have some beers, talk to the employees, and mellow out on my trip.

Momentum Brewery Proudly Debuts Two Ground-Breaking Near-Beers: Golden and Hazy IPA https://thebeerthrillers.com/2024/01/02/momentum-brewery-proudly-debuts-two-ground-breaking-near-beers-golden-and-hazy-ipa/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=momentum-brewery-proudly-debuts-two-ground-breaking-near-beers-golden-and-hazy-ipa Wed, 03 Jan 2024 01:25:00 +0000 https://thebeerthrillers.com/?p=13552 Momentum Brewery Proudly Debuts Two Ground-Breaking Near-Beers: Golden and Hazy IPA

Momentum Brewery has recently stomped its footprint in the non-alcoholic beverage category with the debut of two ground-breaking near-beers: Momentum Golden and Momentum Hazy IPA. The New York-based company is seeking to revolutionize the craft beer experience by canning the best tasting non-alcoholic brews that can be savored by anyone at any given moment.

Relying on tried-and-true recipes formulated by renowned German brewmaster Alexander Himburg and crafted at the award-winning Great South Bay Brewery in Bay Shore, New York, these beers promise to deliver all the flavor and taste one would expect from a great beer without the alcohol content. In addition, their premium “hoppy” beverages contain 50% fewer calories than their competitors.

As individuals opt for healthier and mindful drinking choices, the demand for non-alcoholic beverages has skyrocketed. Consumers are no longer content with lackluster options; instead, they seek flavorful alternatives that can elegantly balance taste and health benefits. Momentum Brewery’s new process caters precisely to this growing market by offering non-alcoholic beers that don’t compromise on flavor or quality.

Himburg, a technical German brewer from the innovative HimburgsBraukunstkeller, is setting the bar for what non-alcoholic beer is supposed to look like and taste like thanks to the use of bold techniques and secret ingredients. These unique recipes draw out the dankest oils from the choicest hops to create flavors and aromas once reserved for medal-worthy ales and lagers. Himburg’s proprietary method ensures each tank is kissed to perfection; quality controlled in every single batch.

Momentum Brewery is strongly backed by industry veterans Lars Dahlhaus and Wolfgang Menzel and their three decades worth of combined expertise in the beverage industry. They are forward-thinking brand ambassadors who share an unrelenting vision for growing Momentum into the country’s largest non-alcoholic beverage producer.

Renowned German Brewmaster Brings Proprietary Method to N/A Beverage Category

Why? Because their product tastes better than anything else on the market. It is brewed to a higher standard. And their insights into consumer preferences and market trends have shaped the brewery’s offerings, ensuring they cater to the evolving needs of non-alcoholic beverage enthusiasts.

“It takes an exceptional brewing talent to create non-alcoholic beers that can rival their alcoholic counterparts,” Dahlhaus said. “Alexander Himburg, a renowned German brewmaster, has meticulously formulated Momentum Brewery’s craft non-alcoholic brews. Produced at the Great South Bay Brewery, the location’s rich brewing history further enhances the quality and character of our beverages.”

Their mission to create non-alcoholic brews that perfectly complement different moments of consumption, whether it be in private as a post-workout treat or in a lively social setting as a suitable substitute for real beer. The brewery’s first release – Non-Alcoholic Golden – is packed with invigorating flavors and an ideal balance, meant to provide a refreshing thirst-quencher after a workout or outdoor adventure. Meanwhile, their second release – Non-Alcoholic Hazy IPA – was brewed for socializing with friends at upscale restaurants and bars, thanks to an enticing aroma along with a hop-forward flavor and smooth texture.

With an experienced team in tow, Momentum Brewery is primed for aggressive growth and recognition. The brewery has partnered with expanding distributor ProofNoMore — the largest non-alcoholic marketplace in the country — to guarantee nationwide distribution and accessibility. This strategic move will enable Momentum to reach a broader audience of health-conscious consumers while establishing its presence within the booming non-alcoholic beverage market.

Momentum Brewery is currently crowdfunding on IndieGoGo and is available for pre-order online at ProofNoMore.com. Initial distribution will focus on retailers across the New York metro area, and the Great South Bay Brewery will exclusively feature Momentum N/A Beers at their taprooms.

Paulaner Münchner Lager Now Available in 19.2 oz Cans https://thebeerthrillers.com/2023/11/27/paulaner-munchner-lager-now-available-in-19-2-oz-cans/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=paulaner-munchner-lager-now-available-in-19-2-oz-cans Mon, 27 Nov 2023 14:35:20 +0000 https://thebeerthrillers.com/?p=13182 Paulaner Münchner Lager is Now Available in a 19.2 oz Cans

Paulaner has now announced that their famous Munchner Lager is now going to be available in the big – tall boy – stovepipe 19.2 oz cans. Paulaner USA – the US importer of the German brewery – is bringing their beloved lager to the masses in a better, more convenient, more economical way. This is their first 19.2 oz can.

As we’ve discussed before – 19.2 oz Cans – are getting more and more market space and share, especially in convenience stores and gas stations (like Sheetz, Rutters, and WaWa’s).

Consumer demand for a taller, bigger beer can continues to grow and we’re happy to now offer our popular Münchner Lager in the new 19.2 oz can. Our single is ready to mingle. It’s also great for consumers searching for a premium beer at sporting events, concerts, backyard barbecues, fun at the beach or lake, and more.

Steve Hauser, President and CEO of Paulaner USA

The 19.2 oz cans are the perfect size for convenience. Not too big to be unwieldy like 32 oz crowlers, but enough to satiate you where a 12 oz or 16 oz can won’t. It makes for a perfect grab and go from a gas station window display.

The Paulaner Münchner Lager is the perfect beer, now in the perfect package, for consumers in search of immediate refreshment.

Steve Hauser, President and CEO of Paulaner USA

Liquid Noise Brewing Company – New Ownership, New Beer, New Friends https://thebeerthrillers.com/2023/05/08/liquid-noise-brewing-company-new-ownership-new-beer-new-friends/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=liquid-noise-brewing-company-new-ownership-new-beer-new-friends Tue, 09 May 2023 00:45:32 +0000 https://thebeerthrillers.com/?p=11308 Liquid Noise Brewing Company – New Ownership

Looks like Liquid Noise Brewing Company is coming back. This time however with new ownership, new beer, and possibly (hopefully) new friends.

Back in March I was given good word (from a trusted person, who was closely attached to the original Liquid Noise Brewing Company) that Liquid Noise Brewing was coming back, but just couldn’t give any details or make an announcement.

But it looks like the cat is out of the bag now. Four hours ago (4:10 PM and 4:11 PM respectively) they changed their Facebook cover photo to a “Coming Soon” photo of their brewery exterior (the backdrop for the above picture, without the ‘new ownership, new beer, new friends’ tagline) and a new profile photo with the Liquid Noise Brewing logo with construction tape over it.

One hour ago they updated their cover photo again with the above photo.

No word yet on who the new ownership is, who the new brewer(s) is / are, and no word on who the new friends are.

We will keep everyone updated as we get more information. When we learn of anything – and can post it – we will.

Liquid Noise Brewing Company’s Closing

Liquid Noise Brewing Company – Under Construction

For more information, see our original article: Liquid Noise Brewing Company Announces The Show is Ending.

Liquid Noise’s Message

The brewery’s post on their social media just about a half hour ago reads:

From a worldwide pandemic to loss of loved ones, Liquid Noise pushed through, but it saddens us to announce that just shy of our 3-year birthday our tour has come to an end. We will be closing our doors sometime in December. We will continue to operate our currents days and hours until our closing date is announced. We value all the new friends that we have made during our journey and appreciate all the loyal friends that have shown their support for us.

We encourage you to please use any gift cards or trivia winnings at this time until we announce our final show date.

If you have any special photos or memories of your times at Liquid Noise please share them on this post! Remember….keep an eye out for our last day and specials that are on the way!!

On behalf of the entire Liquid Noise Family we THANK YOU!! It has been one heck of back stage tour! CHEERS AND KEEP ON ROCKING & CRAFTING LIKE A ROCKSTAR!! 🤘🍺🎤🍻

Caroline Earle Wheat – Dunkelweizen Ale (brewed by Bitchin’ Kitten Brewery in honor of Women’s Animal Center’s 154th Anniversary) (Photo courtesy of Bitchin’ Kitten’s Facebook page)

Caroline Earle Wheat

Bitchin’ Kitten Brewery in Morrisville, Pennsylvania has brewed up a special beer to celebrate the 154th anniversary of the Women’s Animal Center in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.

The beer is titled Caroline Earle Wheat in honor of Caroline E. White the founder of the Women’s Animal Center. 2023 is the 154th anniversary of the founding of the Women’s Animal Center in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. (The Women’s Animal Center was founded in 1869!)

The beer is a Dunkelweizen Ale ( a wheat ale), it is currently not listed on Untappd, but it will be tapped in brewery on Sunday April 16th from 12 PM (noon) til 7 PM.

Bitchin’ Kitten

The brewery is named Bitchin’ Kitten for a reason, so if you don’t think their going to get involved in helping out local animal organizations I got a duck farm in Antartica to sell you.

The co – owners are a couple, Michael and Briggitte Cosson and they are huge cat lovers (how could they not be? and isn’t the name of the brewery a dead give away for that?), so if there’s a local animal organization to raise funds for, you know they are all in.

They are very passionate about their brewery and very passionate about animal organizations, animal rescue, and animal welfare groups.

Sunday April 16th

They are hosting the event and the tapping of the beer, at their brewery – Bitchin’ Kitten. A portion of the sales from the special beer release will support the shelter, as well as meals and medical care for the pets waiting to be adopted. The Women’s Animal Center will also have a table with information about the organization, as well as raffle baskets. The event is scheduled from 12 (noon) PM til 7 PM at their Morrisville, Pennsylvania, brewery.

There will be food and beer on hand at the event.

The specialty beer is the Dunkelweizen Ale – Caroline Earle Wheat in honor of Caroline Earle White, the founder of the Women’s Animal Center back in 1869.

Unfortunately we won’t be able to make it out, and unfortunately we haven’t been to Bitchin’ Kitten’s brewery yet, but they are high up on our list of places to go. So please go out, support this great brewery, and this great animal welfare organization. Its so great to see breweries supporting good causes like this and helping out their communities, always love seeing that.

I might be getting the Map of Vermont Breweries done today, but its not looking likely due to another gorgeous day (88 degrees today!) and having lots of yard work. Hoping to get the garden boxes done, work on the area around the patio, and get the hops strung up and ready to go. Fingers crossed I don’t get lazy and sit down and have me a few beers!

We have also completed the first two Maps of Breweries – Maine and New Hampshire. You can see those here:

We are currently starting to work on creating maps of all the breweries in each state, starting geographically with Maine. So be on the lookout for these great resources to soon be popping up on the blog. Hoping to get a state done every 2 – 4 days. (Some will be quicker and easier than others, but 50 states, plus Washington D.C., will certainly take some time!)

Thank you everyone for reading and please like, share, follow, subscribe, all that good stuff you see at the end of every YouTube video.

Cheers All!

Another Blizzard is Brewing

Another blizzard is brewing! Monday December 5th, 2022 – Troegs Independent Craft Brewing is releasing their seasonal fan favorite – Double Blizzard. Based off Blizzard of Hops, Double Blizzard or Double Blizzard of Hops is a ramped up fan favorite that is eagerly awaited by the Central PA beer enthusiasts.

As Troegs Independent Craft Brewing puts it:

This is Blizzard of Hops …

turned up to 11. For Double Blizzard, we used a cooler temperature for the kettle hop additions, softening the character of the Centennial, Chinook and El Dorado. On the cold side, we dry-hopped with four pounds per barrel of Chinook and Galaxy. At 8.3% ABV, we’re into semi-hazy Double IPA territory, and we like it here!

Beer Review

Double Blizzard draft at Troegs Brewery

I reviewed Double Blizzard last year (On December 6th, 2021). You can read the review here: Beer Review: Double Blizzard (Troegs Independent Craft Brewing).

A small excerpt from the article:

This is definitely as advertised – Blizzard of Hops cranked up to 11! Its bright, its bold, its strong, its beautiful, its dry hopped, its explosive hop aroma and flavor, its juicy and fresh. It is downright delicious. Like I said, there’s a reason why this is one of the more anticipated releases each year for Troegs Brewing. You get all of the bold flavor of the dry hopping right out the gate and it hits you pretty good and hard. Lots of hop aroma and flavor that just nails it, citrus, pineapple, some tropical notes, a little bit of lime, grapefruit to a small extent, and just a wee bit of earthy / grassy hop flavor as well. This is extremely juicy and tasty, the haziness is not a sediment hazy, but just a good New England IPA hazy. The mouth feel on this is incredible too, it drinks just right, its not watery, not thin, not too heavy or cloying, the haze has no sediment, so your not drinking any particles or anything, your drinking a smooth beer that just looks on the hazy end of the spectrum. There is no off flavors, nothing off putting in this, it is brewed well, methodically, and there is nothing off putting or upsetting with it at all. No bad aroma, no bad flavor, no bad appearance. No horrible aftertaste, no bad post beer burps or anything like that. This is just a great beer for the winter months, even though its not a stout, its still a wonderful wintry beer, filling, full, heavy, with a good ABV to it (8.3%), that leaves you feeling warmer after having drank it. And it pairs so well with a wonderful dinner after a long day at work, that it just makes you wanna cozy up in bed afterwards and fall right to sleep.
