The 2024 Battle of the Breweries Champion Is… Liquid Noise Brewing Company!

The NEW Battle of the Breweries Champion Is…

Liquid Noise Brewing Company

The brand new, undisputed, Battle of the Breweries Champion is….. Liquid Noise Brewing Company! Joining our esteemed list of previous winners (Allusion Brewing Company, Von C Brewing Company, and Isle of Que Brewing), Liquid Noise Brewing Company is the newest champion; defeating Allusion Brewing Company, Shy Bear Brewing, and Robin Hood Brewing Company in a hard fought battle in the Finals Fatal Four-Way. They outlasted 139 other breweries to be the sole champion of this year’s tournament.

The Battle of the Breweries ran from the end of February to middle of April, with several rounds. Liquid Noise Brewing Company put up an amazing performance the whole way through (you can view how they did in the results pages for each round). In the finals they bested last year’s champion – Allusion Brewing Company as well as Shy Bear Brewing and Robin Hood Brewing Company. They garnered 1085 votes for a 49.2% of the vote. In second place was Allusion Brewing Company with 903 votes (41%) and in third was Shy Bear Brewing with 113 votes and Robin Hood Brewing Company came in fourth with 104 votes.

Liquid Noise Brewing Company made it to the Finals Fatal Four-Way by winning the Bravo Conference. In this tournament there were breweries from Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, Delaware, D.C, New York, New Jersey, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, and Arizona.

Liquid Noise Brewing Company

Liquid Noise Brewing Company is located in Marysville, Pennsylvania. They recently re-opened with new management, new brewers, and new beers. An advanced kitchen and menu, as well as wonderful staff, there is no doubt as to why they won the tournament. Take a moment to stop out sometime and check out why they are THE 2024 BATTLE OF THE BREWERIES CHAMPIONS!

Liquid Noise Brewing Company – New Ownership, New Beer, New Friends https://thebeerthrillers.com/2023/05/08/liquid-noise-brewing-company-new-ownership-new-beer-new-friends/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=liquid-noise-brewing-company-new-ownership-new-beer-new-friends Tue, 09 May 2023 00:45:32 +0000 https://thebeerthrillers.com/?p=11308 Liquid Noise Brewing Company – New Ownership

Looks like Liquid Noise Brewing Company is coming back. This time however with new ownership, new beer, and possibly (hopefully) new friends.

Back in March I was given good word (from a trusted person, who was closely attached to the original Liquid Noise Brewing Company) that Liquid Noise Brewing was coming back, but just couldn’t give any details or make an announcement.

But it looks like the cat is out of the bag now. Four hours ago (4:10 PM and 4:11 PM respectively) they changed their Facebook cover photo to a “Coming Soon” photo of their brewery exterior (the backdrop for the above picture, without the ‘new ownership, new beer, new friends’ tagline) and a new profile photo with the Liquid Noise Brewing logo with construction tape over it.

One hour ago they updated their cover photo again with the above photo.

No word yet on who the new ownership is, who the new brewer(s) is / are, and no word on who the new friends are.

We will keep everyone updated as we get more information. When we learn of anything – and can post it – we will.

Liquid Noise’s Message

The brewery’s post on their social media just about a half hour ago reads:

We will be closing our doors sometime in December. We will continue to operate our currents days and hours until our closing date is announced. We value all the new friends that we have made during our journey and appreciate all the loyal friends that have shown their support for us.

We encourage you to please use any gift cards or trivia winnings at this time until we announce our final show date.

If you have any special photos or memories of your times at Liquid Noise please share them on this post! Remember….keep an eye out for our last day and specials that are on the way!!

Sadly… Sometimes the Show Must End

In rather shocking news, about a half hour ago Liquid Noise Brewing Company, out of Marysville Pennsylvania, has announced that they will be closing their doors and will be having one final show. No closing date has been announced yet, but they just posted on Facebook and Instagram encouraging their fans and guests and customers to use their trivia winnings and gift cards.

They were just about to make it to their third year anniversary.

For more information on Liquid Noise Brewing Company:

They were a regular stop and visit for Josh, as well as myself, and later Amy as well. Leela was also a big fan of sitting out front (she especially enjoyed getting to “steal” french fries from me). Its really a shame to see the brewery announce that they will be closing. This comes off the recent news of both Rocket Frog Brewing Company (in Virginia) announcing their closure, as well as myself being informed that Burd’s Nest Brewing Company (in Carlisle, Pennsylvania) will also be shuttering their doors.

End of the Year

Hopefully this trend of breweries closing at the end of the year won’t continue, and hopefully its not a sign of the “craft beer” and “craft brewery” bubble and marketplace collapsing and bursting like everyone talks about happening. Fingers crossed at any rate.

Thanks For Reading

Sad news to end the day on. We (Amy and myself… and Leela too) loved going to Liquid Noise. So did Josh I know.

Hopefully this will be the last brewery closure post I’ll have to make (for a long, long, long time). And we wish the best and good luck to all involved with Liquid Noise Brewing Company moving forward.

Goodnight everyone.

Cheers All.

A Word From Brad Moyer of Liquid Noise Brewing https://thebeerthrillers.com/2020/03/20/a-word-from-brad-moyer-of-liquid-noise-brewing/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=a-word-from-brad-moyer-of-liquid-noise-brewing Fri, 20 Mar 2020 19:09:57 +0000 https://thebeerthrillers.com/?p=2648
Liquid Noise Brewing

Brad Moyer, brewmaster and co-owner of Liquid Noise Brewing in Marysville Pennsylvania reached out to me today on Facebook, wanting to have an opportunity to speak to people, amidst this trying times. These are unprecedented times, and uncharted waters we are traveling through. It is good to get reassurance from people, and its great that people like Brad want to speak and tell people that it will be OK, and that we will pull through. So enough of my rambling, I’ll let him tell it in his own words:

“We are saddened by this whole Covoid-19 situation, everything from the actual infected patients to our beer is suffering. At this time we are adhering to the suggestions by Governor Wolf and staying closed and only offering to-go growler through 3/20 after that we will be fully closed until the ban has been lifted. It has been a sticky situation across the state declaring who is and is not a “essential” business. Beer distributors? Yes. Breweries No. Liquor Stores? No. And to complicate things the official document released states “food and beverage manufacturers” as deemed essential. Now, I know many small breweries are hanging on to that statement hard. Listen we get it, none of us can afford to shut down and take a huge hit like this. But sometimes the least profitable decision is the safest play to make. That is why we are going to be staying 100% closed until things cool down and life can continue as normal. We love beer, and we love our customers and staff and honestly we wouldn’t want to risk any of those things for any kind of money. We encourage everyone to please follow suit and make the right (and very hard) decision of staying calm and at home. Life will resume soon.”

– Brad Moyer of Liquid Noise Brewing

I appreciate Brad reaching out to me to get this message out to everyone. Please check out their Facebook page for more information, and please, let’s all help out our local breweries in this troubling and struggling time for everyone.

Cheers everyone and I hope to see you guys on the other side of this all!

Supporting Local Breweries and Businesses https://thebeerthrillers.com/2020/03/18/supporting-local-breweries-and-businesses/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=supporting-local-breweries-and-businesses Wed, 18 Mar 2020 19:05:25 +0000 https://thebeerthrillers.com/?p=2614 In times like this, when everything is so unprecedented, things are nothing if not an uncertainty. No one right now knows anything with any level of certainty about what’s going on, or what the future holds. Except for one thing – we need to help each other. As the old saying goes: “United we stand, divided we fall.” Or as Jack Shepard said on LOST: “Live together. Die alone.” The mentality of unity, and helping each other out, is the backbone, of not just the United States, but of humanity as a whole. It is one has sustained human culture from the dawning of civilization; what has separated us from the animals.

We have no idea how devastating this coronavirus / COVID-19 will be; either on a physical / societal level for people’s health and well being, or financially, especially on the mom and pop, on the small businesses, on your local craft brewery. Currently, Pennsylvania (currently as of 3.18.20) is on a two week lock-down. But this could be extended, with some discussing it going til May 1st. But here’s the thing, nobody knows. This is a time of uncertainty.

BUT – thankfully, many local breweries, restaurants, and businesses are doing what they can to a) stay afloat and b) to help us (regular people) out. Many are offering curbside to go, take out, delivery, and sales by online or phone.

In my attempt to help out where I can, I am writing up this blog article, to let everyone know what breweries and restaurants are doing what, so that people can stay informed, and be able to purchase and support their favorite local breweries. I’ve attempted to start up several coronavirus / COVID-19 posts over the last several days. But as soon as I’d get information; there’d be more information, or things would change. I tried keeping up with what local-ish breweries were closing (like Guinness and Flying Dog) but it soon became too overwhelming to keep up, especially once Governor Wolf’s mandate came down at 2PM on Monday (3.16.20). But, this is something I can do, and keep people informed. Hopefully, people will see this, and help support their local breweries.

I’m working on trying to get listed as many places as I can. This won’t be completely comprehensive. It can’t possibly be. But I will do my best to list as as much as I can list. If you feel left out, message me, and I will update and include your brewery, restaurant, etc. I want it to be as comprehensive as I can, but I just know it won’t be.

I’m going to try and do it by county / larger municipality areas. There might not be a rhyme or reason to the order of the counties, but you can do a search function and find your county / large municipality to find what you need.
